Cindy Conklin and Bob Merbler live in Federal Hill with their two children, Tyler and Casey. They have lived in Federal Hill for the past three decades, and know the neighborhood, its people, and above all, its real estate market.  Cindy & Bob have achieved extraordinary success in Baltimore City and are consistent leaders in city residential real estate sales.  Conklin-Merbler were the #1 Coldwell Banker team in the Baltimore area in both 2003 and 2004. With sales of over 46 million dollars, the Conklin-Merbler Group was the leading Coldwell Banker group in Baltimore City in 2005.                                                            

Cindy Conklin graduated from Roland Park Country School, and went on to Dickinson College, where she received a B.A. in Economics.  After five years at T. Rowe Price in the early 1980’s, she began a career in real estate at O’Conor, Piper & Flynn in 1985 at the same office where she works today.  Though many changes have come in company ownership, from OPF to Coldwell Banker, Cindy remains the same successful and driven agent, loyal to her clients and a part of the community.  Cindy is dedicated to community activities, and serves as a volunteer with Christ Lutheran Place (a women and children’s shelter), Port Discovery Children’s Museum, and is on The Alumnae Council for Dickinson College.

Bob has over 30 years of real estate experience, and has a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from American University.  He worked for The Prudential Insurance Company in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia for twelve years in Mortgage Lending, Property Management, and Development.  Subsequently, he became a partner in a Howard County real estate development firm specializing in commercial and retail real estate development.

In 1995, Bob joined O’Conor, Piper & Flynn, where in addition to being heavily involved in the sales effort, he has primary responsibility as a liaison with builders in the contract-to-settlement process.

Bob has lived in Federal Hill since the early 1970’s, and was involved with the early renovations in the neighborhood.  He is committed to city living, and has a strong understanding of Real Estate Marketing and Development.
